Crowler at the Referend Anniv line share, 12/2/17.
Heavily hazy, borderline soupy, golden-blonde-brass with a small but creamy, well-retained white head.
Classic NE IPA aromas of pineapple, tangerine and mango-lime are here joined by light white grape, strong mineral and light cherry, from the Enigma addition. No resin, no pine, no dirt (sometimes have got dirty notes from Enigma), no alcohol and the gentle backing malts add biscuit and honey.
Fruity, juicy, soft and well-attenuated, with pear, peach, pineapple, riesling and biscuit notes all making for an enjoyable experience. Low bitterness, no resin or alcohol and clean, with light bubble gum-like yeast but no dough or blandness. Tight carbonation and tons of complex fruit/juice notes lingering. Very well-done stuff.

Dark ebony, undetermined clarity with a small, tan head showing low retention.
Vanilla, fudge and light lactose/lactic character seem pretty standard for the "style". There's good acidity with plum and raisin, but it does also smell quite sweet. Alcohol is relaxed, which is fairly impressive.
Fudgey, lightly-to-moderately syrupy with peanut, cacao, brown sugar and moderate cinnamon throughout a full, sweet body with little/no alcohol. Appropriate acidity, or nearly, with prune, plum and cherry-like notes. Lactose does its thing and adds its tell tale milky flavor to moderate degrees of stomach churn. It's fine, rather sweet and chocolatey, though the cinnamon is done well. Kind of reminds me of Double Shot.
