Draft at the Shepherd and Knucklehead, 9/13/17. Unclear golden-amber color with a lasting froth of tan head. Aroma is sweet and fruity, pepper comes through in the flavor. Spicy, tingly, and sweet. Pretty good, but not something you really want more than about 6 ounces of. 3.1: 7/4/6/3/11 Can from Icarus mobile, 7/8/21. Hazy yellowish-orange, white head. Pineapple and stone fruit aroma. Sweet hops and pineapple mix nicely with the pepper finish. I had this too low in 2017 according to my overly generous 2021 palate. 3.7: 8/4/7/3/15

16oz can pours a mostly clear gold with some filmy, white head. Nose is nice and approachable, floral, honey, lemon, some tangerine, faint melon. Flavor has lemon tea, flowers, honey, a little corn, some grass, light herbs. Finishes a touch watery, bitter. Not a head turner, but nicely done.

Growler from Spirits Unlimited in Toms River, NJ. Hazy Amber orange color topped by a brief white head. Earthy, fruity malt nose hints a peppers. Light fruity malt flavor has a hint of pineapple that is quickly overcome by the habenaro pepper. The heat is warm, yet not overpowering. Lacks complexity or depth.
