Sample at the tap room. This beer pours black with a medium thick light brown head that recedes slowly. Sticky rings of lacing on the glass. Roasted malt, coffee and chocolate in the nose. Medium to full body with a roasty character and flavors of coffee, bittersweet chocolate and malt. The finish is malty with a mildly bitter coffee aftertaste. Above average overall.

Light-bodied with flavors of herbal hops, biscuit malt and a bit of fruit. The finish is mildly bitter with a grassy hops aftertaste. Decent overall.

Medium-bodied with flavors of resiny hops, roasted malt and a bit of citrus. The finish is malty up front with a piney hops aftertaste. Pretty good overall.
