Pours from growler a clear dark golden color with a thin white head that burns away quickly to an outer ring. Short strings of lace. Aroma of grassy hops, grapefruit and malt. Medium body with flavors of grapefruit, grassy hops and bready malt. The finish is citrusy and hoppy with a pithy grapefruit aftertaste. Pretty good overall.

Sample at the taproom. Brown-black pour with a medium tan head that diminishes gradually to a dense film. Small patches of lace. Aroma of oak, malt and vanilla. Full-bodied with flavors of oaky bourbon, roast malt, dark chocolate and vanilla. The finish is oaky with a bourbon and malt aftertaste. Good beer overall.
