Sample at the taproom. The beer is a clear deep golden color with a medium thin white head that dissipates quickly to an outer ring. Short strings of lace. Aroma of oak, fruit, yeast and spice. Medium to full body with flavors of oaky bourbon, fruity yeast, malt and clove. The finish is oaky with a Belgian yeast and bourbon aftertaste. Pretty good overall.

On draught at the taproom. Clear copper color with a medium off-white head that recedes steadily to a lasting film. Stringy lace. Pumpkin spices and malt in the nose. Medium body with flavors of roast malt, cinnamon, ginger and caramel. The finish is sweet with a pumpkin spice and malt aftertaste. Above average overall.

Sample from crowler during the Ill Mannered 5-Year Anniversary Virtual Tasting on 09/01/2020. Dark mahogany-brown pour with a thick frothy light beige head that diminishes gradually to a dense film. Patchy lacing. Aroma of bourbon, malt, fruit and hops. Full-bodied with flavors of oaky bourbon, caramel malt, ripe fruit and earthy hops. The finish is oaky with a bourbon and malt aftertaste. Good beer all around.

Pours from crowler a flat brown-black color with a thin beige head that dissipates steadily to a dense film. Sparse patches of lacing. Bourbon, coffee, malt and chocolate in the nose. Medium to full body with flavors of oaky bourbon, roast coffee, malt and vanilla. The finish is oaky with a bourbon and malt aftertaste. Pretty good all around.

Pours from crowler a cloudy orange-apricot color with a medium frothy white head that diminishes gradually to a film. Partial rings of lace. Herbal hops, tropical fruit and malt in the nose. Medium body with flavors of resiny hops, citrus and tropical fruits and bready malt. The finish is mildly bitter and slightly creamy with a fruity hop aftertaste. Pretty good overall.
