Bottle: Poured a bright golden color ale with a large white foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of sour notes with some vinous notes and oak is quite enjoyable. Taste is a nice mix of tart notes with some clearly identifiable oak notes with some vinous notes bring more balance. Body is about average with great carbonation. Super enjoyable saison with great barrel-aging in the Chardonnay barrels.

Catching up some rates from last weeks trip to Newfoundland. Taster at the source. Hazy grapefruit orange in color without much of a head. Lots of fruit and lemony tart with just a hint of earthy hop to counter. Pretty tasty tart ale.
