Description
Spectrum Beer Co. is a gateway craft beer project from Vancouver, B.C., for people. If you’re looking for the hoppy, bitter IPAs or the malty lagers, you might want to look somewhere else.
We think there’s something for everyone in beer, so we’re focusing on fruitier flavours, lighter body profiles and experimental takes on classic beer styles that’ll appeal to wine and cocktail drinkers – but will still appeal to the beer lover, too.

355mL can, pours a cloudy dull golden with a large, foamy white head. Aroma is extremely lemony, with some coriander and lacto in back. Flavour is very salty and over-the-top lemony, with a briney citrus character, intense salt, lacto and puckering lemon. Nothing refined about this. A salty, lemony mess. Poor.

Not into it. Everything you’d expect taste wise except it’s blonde so is mixed with a malty sweetness that is disconcerting. Weird. I like chocolate orange but not sure I like it combined with the usual kind of blonde ale malty sweetness

Well made for what it is.

355ml can. Pours a clear pink-orange with a medium, fizzy, short lived, white head that fully dissipates. Sweet aroma of bready malt, lemon, sugar, tart raspberry, earthy yeast and floral hops. Sweet flavour of grainy pale malt, lemon, raspberry yogurt, sugar and floral hops in a dry, sour lacto finish. Light to medium body with a watery texture and average carbonation. Refreshing, but slightly disappointing. Lacks any depth or complexity.
