Description
David Cole and Peter Erickson are the founders and co-owners of Epic Brewing Company. Cole and Erickson, originally from California, started an international aquaculture company in Utah in 1992. In 2008, Utah law changed allowing these two entrepreneurs to pursue their longtime dream of opening a strong beer microbrewery in Utah, like those they frequented in the Golden State.
Admittedly, beer geeks, foodies, and "Epic" adventure junkies, share a passion for making and drinking fine ales and lagers. The Epic team has a strong belief in doing everything "all out."

A hazed milky yellow DIPA with a thin lacing white head. In aroma, sweet fruity biscuit malt with resinous floral hops, dank notes, tropical fruits, very nice. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity biscuit malt with resinous floral hops, tropical fruit, light citrus, pleasant. On tap at Hop The Beer Experience Juárez.

Tasting at Phill's, bottle
(some details got lost) Bold as usual, the combination of berries and stouts is always weird.

Black with a medium but short lived light brown head. Aroma of cocoa, coffee, roasted malt and some dried fruit sense. Sweet with a warm long cocoa, coffee and roasted ending. Full bodied, like ABV 11,1. Bb 1.1.2023

Can. Cloudy pale yellow. No head no backstage pass. I usually give every other beer a 4 for appearance but this is plain ugly. Juicy aroma of lemons, oranges, lime, dextrose with hints of grapefruits. Gets my mouth watering. Taste follows aroma plus a salty finish. Juicy, fruity, tart, sour and all that. No bitterness. Strong carbonation. A nice refreshment on such a hot day as it’s basically a really lovely lemonade with benefits but I don’t get the IPA or even beer connection at all. I like it nonetheless.

Poured from 650mL bottle (listed 11% abv). Black with small light tan head. Blackberry and raspberry is quite evident, fairly mild chocolate, decent, but not a ton of complexity here. Okay variant.

22 oz. bottle, pours black with a small tan head. Nose brings out lots of dark blackberries, pithy raspberries, some dark sugars, and a touch of whiskey. Flavour is full of dark berries, especially blackberries, followed by medium roast, and some dark sugars. Lots of pithy dark berries. Good but far from the best BBB.

22oz @ Phill's. Appearance: dark brown with a nice dark beige hed. Aroma: raspberries, some roasted malts and coffee. Taste: quite a lot of raspberries, some chocolate and roasted malts. Overall: a bit on the thin side, but it's pretty pleasant.
