This beer pours a clear yellow-gold color with a thin foamy white head that evaporates quickly to an outer ring. Short strings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of malt and grassy hops. Light-bodied with flavors of grassy hops, bready malt and slight fruit. The finish is mildly bitter with a short hoppy aftertaste. Would be entirely forgettable without the gimmick name.

330ml bottle. Clear golden colour with small to average, frothy, white head. Bitter hoppy aroma, some underlying straw. Taste is monotonous, one-dimensional metallic, bitter hoppy.

500ml bottle. Clear orangey dark golden colour with huge, frothy, minimally lacing, off-white head. Grassy and grainy aroma with a touch of hay and raw eggs. Taste is minimally sweet malty, backgroundish caramel and nuttily notes, hints of dry to bitter hop. Too light and slightly boring Heller Bock.

Brewed with different recipe at Einsiedler and Brauhaus Torgau before. Since the closure of the brewery in Torgau its now brewed by Hartmannsdorfer. Bottle looks simple but good. Beer in the glass zippy, small head. Starts mild, malty with grasy hints, a bit wheaty. Finish more hoppy, but still malty dominated. Okay, but could be more hoppy.

Bottle, courtesy of Gunnar/Sigmund. A clear, golden beer topped by a small, off-white head. Grains, a pleasant hop aroma and some notes of something unpleasant I don’t recognize. Pleasant hops in the flavor, grass, resins and bitterness, and a dry maltyness. Dry, medium bodied, and with a nice, bitter finish. A quite pleasant beer, but probably selling more because of the name than due to quality and flavor. 111209

05/05 0.33 l bottle courtesy of ogivlado, thanks for sharing! It poured pale yellow body with small head. Light grainy aroma, grainy as its flavor, which was mostly bitter, some herbal hops, grain and light sweetish egg to honey malt. Thinner in body with short and watery, slightly bitter finish. Although the bottle is surely interesting and found a place on my wardrobe, beer itself is boring and that is what counts here.
