On tap. Pours a slightly hazy gold-yellow with a small, creamy, short lived, white head that leaves spotty lacing. Mild, sweet aroma of grainy wheat malt, banana, lemon and muddled earthy spice. Flavour of bready wheat malt, earthy spice and an off-putting basement note in a dry finish. Light body with a watery texture and soft carbonation. Bland, off-style, a fail for me. This comes across as a home-brewing experiment gone wrong.

341ml bottle. (5.5% ABV) Pours a murky amber with a medium, frothy, long lasting, beige head that laces. Mild aroma of grainy malt, caramel, grapefruit rind, floral and musty yeast. Sweet flavour of grainy malt, caramel, grapefruit, green apple, musty yeast, honey and faint vanilla with a bitter grass finish. Light body with a thin, watery texture and average carbonation. Pretty underwhelming.

On tap. Pours an opaque black with a small, creamy, long lasting , light brown head that laces. Sweet, mild aroma of roasted malt, chocolate and coffee. Sweet flavour of roasted malt, milk chocolate and a hint of smoke with a mildly bitter coffee finish. Light body with a smooth, creamy texture and soft carbonation. Disappointing. There is a lot of really good craft brewers popping up all over Alberta right now. Sadly these guys are not one of them. They really need to step up their game if they want to compete.
