330ml can via Beer52. Poured into a Hoegaarden Grand Cru stemmed tulip glass at home on 6th March 2026. Beer number 4 in my round the world mini session with myself and no one else. Hazed dull golden body, white crown that hung around. No aroma and a wheaty feel to the taste, all a bit bland and uninteresting to be honest. Came alive a little more once I opened a packet of 'Love Corn' (a sea salt flavoured crunchy corn snack).

Thanks omhper! Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is wheat, some ginseng, a bit citrus too. Flavour is ginseng, wheat and some liquorice powder. Strange.

Keg at Peiping Machine, Fangjia Hutong, Beijing. Clear deep golden, small head. Grapefruity hop aroma. Mid sweet with solid body and rounded mouthfeel. Mildly fruity bread. Grapefruit and pears. Resinous bitter finish with a whiff of smoke. All around solid.

Keg at Peiping Machine, Fangjia Hutong, Beijing. Bright green, small head. Aroma of banana and cloves. Mid sweet with light to medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Doughy wheat, some earthyness from the bean paste, but it seem to contribute mostly with colour. Low bitterness.

Keg at Peiping Machine, Fangjia Hutong, Beijing. Clear copper colour, small head. Roasty grapefruit aroma. Mid sweet with medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Toast, grapefruit and rose water. Long bitter finish.
