Description
Founded in 2012, Cloud 9 Brewery is a nanopub concept featuring locally sourced and organic components in both the brewery and restaurant.
With an emphasis on creative brewing, Cloud 9 is situated in a unique place in the market. Instead of having the exact same line-up from month to month, the beers on-tap at Cloud 9 change as soon as the last drop from the previous batch has been poured. With so many taps, and only 6 year-round beers, the variety is truly amazing.
Cloud 9 also features a unique feedback process by which we judge what beer-drinkers actually think. We collate and analyze the input and use that to shape the direction of the next batch. In this way the community is involved in the brewing process from concept to the final foamy pint.
A commitment to quality, service and genuine interest in our community make Cloud 9 Brewery the place for beer aficionados, foodies, and everyone who enjoys fresh and unique culinary creations.

On tap at the Boise NP hazy light yellow orange. Thin wispy white head. Very light PE malt aroma with a few light citrusy notes. Some of the sweet citrus flavors, melon and mandarin orange. Otherwise basic American wheat slightly hopped up. Tasty and refreshing.

Smooth yet potent brew. Tons of roast grain goodness, dry and bitter, hints of chocolate. Tasty stuff

Another nice rye beer that uses the grain sourness to great advantage. Medium golden body , sour// bitter finish. Interesting

Some nice malt is the first thing you notice, followed by a pleasant hops bite. Medium golden body, nice lacing, smooth finish.

Sorry guys, Iβm not getting the same experience. I find this kind of weak all the way around. Bland aroma, dull appearance. Cereal malt taste, no finish.

On tap at bier thirty. Pours out a golden straw topped with a small head. Nose is nice sweet caramel pine citrus hops and some grapefruit notes. Taste is as the nose with a good mix of hops and malts. A tasting double for sure.

On tap at the Boise BP hazy golden wispy head and lacing. Light fruity aroma. More like a Tripel. Fairly sweet heavy palate, low bitterness, some more Belgian fruit yeast flavors. Soft carbonation. The ABV comes through a bit as well. Nice.

On tap at the Boise BP Black with a light brown head. Straight forward roasty aroma. Great blend of dark roast and hoppy bitterness. Very smooth. Surprised at the 9% ABV Probably my favorite of theirs.

Simple and light, ale. Saison? Not so sure. Light bodied and light golden, with thin airy head. Single malt and hops gives it a subdued character, not like a traditional NW ale. Easy to drink, and a good food accompaniment.
