Description
Founded in 2012, Cloud 9 Brewery is a nanopub concept featuring locally sourced and organic components in both the brewery and restaurant.
With an emphasis on creative brewing, Cloud 9 is situated in a unique place in the market. Instead of having the exact same line-up from month to month, the beers on-tap at Cloud 9 change as soon as the last drop from the previous batch has been poured. With so many taps, and only 6 year-round beers, the variety is truly amazing.
Cloud 9 also features a unique feedback process by which we judge what beer-drinkers actually think. We collate and analyze the input and use that to shape the direction of the next batch. In this way the community is involved in the brewing process from concept to the final foamy pint.
A commitment to quality, service and genuine interest in our community make Cloud 9 Brewery the place for beer aficionados, foodies, and everyone who enjoys fresh and unique culinary creations.

On tap at the Boise Nano-Pub. Slightly hazy light yellow with a small white head. Spotty webs of lacing. Very light and mild malt aroma. Hints if the lemon grass and a touch of ginger. Similar flavors. Very light in the ginger.

On tap at Boise’s newest "nano-pub". Slightly hazy light yellow with a brief white skin. Light grain and soft cereal notes. Just the right touch of IBUs to keep it from tasting like barley Kool-Aid. Very pleasant Blonde.

On tap at the Boise "NanoPub" Cloudy orange with a brief white head. Very light soft grain aroma. Nice honey flavors in an otherwise, light soft malty ale. The Basil comes through is a nice way as well. Some residual sweetness at the end makes this a pleasant easy brew. Wet softly carbonated finish. --- Beer merged from original tick of Buzz'd Honey Basil on 10 Aug 2014 at 14:57 - Score: Appearance - 8 | Aroma - 6 | Flavor - 7 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 7.5. Original review text: On tap at the Boise NP Ha y light golden with a fine head that receded to an even sheet of lacing coating the top of the glass. sweet light malt aroma. Lots of the basil in the flavors. Very nice. Somewhat perfumery and floral. Plenty of residual sugars. Light bodied and i would not have guessed 20 IBUs Easy and soft drinking with nice flavors

On Tap at the Boise BP Hazy deep golden orange with a full rocky off white head. Nice sweet citrusy hop aroma. Classic tangerine and grapefruit nites, but soft and subtle. As per the the description this is a drinkable DIPA and on the low end of IBUS and hoppiness for the style. A characteristic consistent across the board here I think. Still nothing about it I dont like and lots of hop flavor and moderate bitterness. The finish is a bit sweet. Quite nice over all.

On Tap at the Boise BP Opaque black with a very nice full dense light brown head. Soft sweet mocha and light roast aroma. Sweet chocolate and a little holiday spice. Big sweet chocolaty flavor. And something else that must be "salted caramel" Definitely a dessert beer, but not overly sweet or heavy. Interesting twist on the stout style that I think works.

On Tap at the Boise BP Hazy light orange amber. Full creamy light tan head. Very soft light hop aroma. Light malty flavor, No joke, listed at 26 IBU, this will disappoint hop-heads, but it is very tasty and slightly sweet. Smooth soft palate,

Decent IPA, but nothing outstanding. All about his is ordinary, except for the fact that it is locally made, uses local ingredients, and is only distributed locally.
