On tap at Rose and Crown. Another solid production from Rodger! This beer has more pine than the others, but still leans heavily on the citrus. Clear orange and a full white head - every one of the Faction beers is crystal clear! Flavors mirror the aroma. Slightly bitter and semi-dry finish. Lots of citrus as it warmed. Balanced well by some cracker malt.

On tap at Harry’s Hofbrau. Lots of citrus and some slight pine aroma. Pours a deep gold, clear and with a sustained white head (lighter than the ALS). Taste is overt citrus and restrained pine. Clean finish that is relatively quick. Hoping this becomes a staple at the Hofbrau!

On tap at Rose and Crown. Fantastic strong aroma of citrus, tropical fruit. Some slight bready malt lends legitimate backbone and support to the overt hops. Golden-orange and clear with a full white head that lingers and laces down the glass. Perfect hop flavor of orange, tropical fruit and all citrus. Finishes semi-dry with a solid bitterness that is not overwhelming. Wonderful beer from Rodger - and the best of the Ales for ALS bunch that I had this season!

On tap at Ale Arsenal. Slight dank, moderate orange and overt tropical fruit aroma. Malt is solid wheatfield. Slight biscuit. Pours clear, copper orange with full white head that laces down the glass. Taste is moderate dank, earth and restrained citrus that is more pronounced as it warms. Semi-strong bittering balances well with the alcohol and malt to create a complex drink. The subdued citrus on the flavor makes this a great IPA addition to the lineup of winter beers.
