16oz can at Boda's. Golden pour, mild haze, small silky white head. Aroma and taste are mellow, malty. Not much citrusy character, but really easy to drink.

Draft pour at Final Draft Taphouse. Jet black pour, cola fizz head. Quite a robust feel to this. A gritty malt flavor. Roasted, and chocolate. Soft, toasty aroma. Creamy body. Nutty, as expected, but a little heavier. Rich, but not too rich. Cocoa long linger. Pretty good overall.

On tap at Saraveza's 6th IIPA Fest, pours a reddish deep dark brown / black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out roasted malt and piney hops in good balance. Flavour is really well-balanced, with a dry piney hop quality over too roasted malt. Excellent balance, maintaining a solid dry finish. Great beer.

Draft - Roast malts and some molasses. Jet black with a decent light brown head. Chocolate, light hops and more cocoa. Little spice, lots of chocolate like notes and very little hops outside of bitterness.
