Pours clear gold with a big, craggy white head. The aroma is of grainy, bready malt. The flavor is similar with easy going sweetness and a bit of mild hops. It’s light bodied and good for what it is, which isn’t really my thing.

Fairly hazy deep copper and orange coloured body with a very small, barely single centimetre tall pure white head that fades pretty quickly. Aroma of bright grassy and citrusey hops with a lot of alpha acids and a bit of sweetness, especially noticeable after the bitterness in the nose. Medium-bodied; Strong bitter flavours dominate at first with a lot of alpha acids and some citrusey elements with a strong and balanced malt profile and some softer sugars from tropical and especially citrus fruits at the end. Aftertaste shows some lighter malts and yeast, but the citrusey and slightly dry hops and alpha acid bitterness cuts through just about everything, in a good way. Overall, a pretty nice IPA with a prolonged bitterness, balanced maltiness and soft sugars at the end but the unfiltered quality and the citrus pungency makes this a nice and solid 'new england' IPA despite being here in the middle of the country. I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized pour on draught at The Eagle [restaurant] in downtown Indianapolis, Indiana on 09-August-2021 with my wife and family on my twelfth wedding anniversary.

Hazy orange-gold pour. There’s a resin and citrus hop aroma that really leans in to the citrus. The flavor is good and hoppy with moderate to strong bitterness. There’s plenty of citrus, especially grapefruit and orange, and some resin and underlying malt. Very good.

Backlog. Hazy orange pour with a small head. Very citrus heavy hop aroma. The flavor has a nice dose of hops bitterness and a lot of malty sweetness along with citrus and tropical fruit and some hop resin. I probably had this at Ted’s Beer Hall but I didn’t write down that part so I’m not positive.

This can was a gusher, which made me think it would be a bad one. It was actually fine. I'm not sure why it was so carbonated. At any rate, the aroma is of caramel malt and fruity hops. The flavor is moderately bitter with citrus fruit and for some reason I was thinking pears. The malty backbone has a touch of caramel. Medium bodied. Good APA.
