Bottle, as Piwo Klasztorne Opata. It pours a clear, golden body with a nice, dense, beige head. Caramel, some fruityness and a touch of candy in the aroma. The flavor has caramel and fruityness, pale malts and some bitterness towards the finish. Rather short finsh. Medium body. A quite boring beer, more suited for binging than with a good book in the favorite chair. (081229)

Bottle, as Piwo Klasztorne Szafarza. A clear, ruby beer with a diminishing beige head. Honey and heather dominates the aroma, in a quite nice way, but I still ain’t very fond of it. Sweetish with some spicy notes as well. Too sweet and honeyish flavor, with some spicyness in the background. Sweet finish. Medium, sticky mouthfeel. Sure drinkable, but not my favourite honey beer. Too unbalanced and sweet. (081229)

Bottle, as Piwo Klasztorne Przeora. A clear, dark ruby beer with a small, beige head. Sweetish nose with cola and notes of cloves. Sweet flavor too, still with cola, sugar, ginger and cinnamon. Almost sticky on the palate, with a fine carbonation trying to cleanse the mouth. A strange one, way too sweet, too reminiscent of cola and missing bitterness to give it some balance. Drinkable though, but hardly by numbers. (081229)

Bottle, 5.5%. Sweet honey aroma. Almost black colour. Stable light brown head. The flavour is quite sweet with a distinct honey note and some ginger. Slightly burning ginger aftertaste. Different, but too sweet. Gets undrinkable after a while.

Bottle, 6.2% at BBF07. Sweet, roasted liquorice aroma. Very dark brown colour, small head. The flavour is a lot like the aroma, sweet liquorice, like salmiakrulle, Lakrisal.
