[ As Wet Whistle Gingerbread Stout ].
ABV: 8.5%. Clear dark brown colour with a small to average, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, chocolate, gingerbread, spicy, cinnamon. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, spicy bitter, gingerbread, dusty. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20240117]

Sample (thanks omhper!). Black colour, small beigeish brown head. Aroma is gingerbread, coffee, liquorice, chocolate and some toffee tones. Flavour is gingerbread, some spices, liquorice, chocolate and some toffeeish tones with mild alcohol sweetness.

--Bottled, from Systembolaget. -- Black, minimal beige head. Aroma of gingerbread and coffee. Sweet with full body and rounded mouthfeel. Gingerbread, syrup and coffee. Warming finish with lingering syrupy sweetness and evident bitterness. One dimensional and too sweet, but not really pasrty stout bad rather a pretty fun, gimmicky christmas drink.

Sample (thanks omhper!). Honeyish golden colour with a small white head. Aroma is sweet malts, some tea, mild honey sweetness. Flavour is toasted, strong tea leafs, mild floral and some herbal elements. Nice lingering bitter tea aftertaste. Very different.
