Description
The Landskron Brau-Manufaktur Görlitz was founded in 1869. It is one of the oldest producing industrial monuments in Germany. At Landskron, since 1869 all beers are brewed using traditional fermentation vats according to the traditional brewing tradition and are allowed to mature for a particularly long time in 12-meter-deep vaulted cellars. In contrast to industrial breweries with computer-controlled brewing systems, all beers at Landskron are managed by experienced master brewers by hand.

0,5 l bottle from coinside. Nice looking label art design. A dark golden in the glass, a lot of CO 2 pearls and a big head. Malty and fresh on the nose. Starts strong malty, not bad, but I can not confirm the hop in the designation. I expected more at this point. (1.02.2013)

0,5 l bottle with the re-designed label art. Murky golden in the glass, a way to orange, small head for a Weizen. Like "Paulaner" on the nose. Starts with dominat caramell notes, low clove and not so fruity herb like the industrial Bavarian counterpart. Could be made a little bit rough and herb. But a better one. Thanks to coinside for that bottle. (28.02.2013)

0,5 l bottle in the re-designed label art work. Light golden in the glass, fine white head. Low spicy and sourish on the nose. Malt and a low spice at the start, later with a low herb. Typical for a Helles not very complex but very quaffable and a better one of its kind. Thanks to coinside for that bottle. (7.03.2013)

0,5 l bottle from coinside. Thanx a lot. Lighter than expected in the glass, little bit unclear, nice white head. Citrus and caramell on a low level on the nose. Starts with sourish caramell, mal in the middle part. Not a lot to the end, maybe little herb. A low okay. (17.03.2013)

0,5 l bottle. Black label design for a black content. Tastes the whole way like industrial malt-drink, very sweet, maybe a little bit more malt and herb than that. Not a real beer. Anyhow, thanks to coinside for that bottle. (17.03.2013)

Bottle, small stable light beige head, deep brown colour, almost completely opaque, honey cookey malty aroma with a hint of metal, much to sweet honey and stale bread flavour, maybe a hint of bitterness. Revolting.

Sample from 75 cl. bottle. Hazy, amber colour with a golden tint. Thin, lightly tanned head. Sweet aroma with caramel malts, fruits and port barrel - wooden and overripe fruits.. Taste is sweet. Medium body with a creamy texture. Finishes dry with a hint of port barrel.
