Description
The Landskron Brau-Manufaktur Görlitz was founded in 1869. It is one of the oldest producing industrial monuments in Germany. At Landskron, since 1869 all beers are brewed using traditional fermentation vats according to the traditional brewing tradition and are allowed to mature for a particularly long time in 12-meter-deep vaulted cellars. In contrast to industrial breweries with computer-controlled brewing systems, all beers at Landskron are managed by experienced master brewers by hand.

Bottled. Very dark brown, small airy head. Sugary nose. Extremely sweet with light bodied. Sticky and aggressive. The flavour of the artificial sweetener is strong and highly unpleasant. Finishes inky. WTF?

The bottle looks good, the beer in the glass also. Tastes much too sweet, only modest malty. Unbalanced finish, a bit oily. Not good!

Bottled. A red-chestnut colored beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is sweet malty combined with notes of fruit and caramel. The flavor is very sweet with notes of malt and caramel, as well as light notes of straw. Reminds me somewhat of a Danish Hvidtøl. Thanks yespr for sharing.
