16 oz can from Half Time, 4/19/22. Pours black, with a creamy and frothy medium brown head. Rich and malty. Roast and chocolate forward. Bit of maple syrup and honey coming through, but not adding a ton of sweetness at all. Much more of a classic, drier Imperial Stout than I expected from the description, which is very welcome in 2022, that is for sure. Rich and flavorful. Hides the booziness rather well. Really nice stuff.

Taster pour on tap at CT Brew Fest. It's a milky opaque yellow with thin cap of beige head and mild lacing. Aroma is nice citrus, grape and fruit. Taste is a bit of citrus and grape, with grains. Mouthfeel is light-to-medium bodied with smooth, thin texture, average-to-lively carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, taste is milder than the aroma. Decent but not an improvement on the original.

Pours hazy light gold into a shaker. Bright white head with excellent retention recedes to coat surface. Dusty melon aromas. Soft with lychee and lemon joy upfront turning dry and harsh with continued soapy lemon in the lasting finish. Looked good, though.

16 oz. can. Aroma brings out biscuity malt, some grass and herb. Flavor has fresh grassy hops, straw and crisp biscuity malt. Grassy and punchy, with a nice crisp texture and moderate bitterness. Very well made.
