Coronado Island, Feb '24. Inky black, batter-colored froth; Dark cola highlights. Medium char nose with a little dank before the cocoa. Cola, soap, mild char, bittersweet chocolate, slightly rich texture, caramel, cola acidity. Decent.

Coronado Island, fish n chips. Pale straw, active, lingering froth. Floral rice & faintly lemon nose. Taste is crisp premium lager, lemon, saltines, acidic & faintly bitey bitter finish. Off-dry. Decent. Rice lagers just trigger my meh response.

Second beer while sitting outside by the road at Coronado, Feb '24. Hazy, yellow-orange pour, lightly frothy. Boozy pale citrus & soft herbal hops nose. Not a ton so far. Bright citrus, fresh juice, pithy white grapefruit middle, itchy thin malt backside. Lingering orange. Ended up being lovely.

First beer as the opened on Coronado Island. Clear, active, pale gold, everlasting frothy. Ashy coffee nose with a lot of citrus fruit. Very bright & citrusy upfront, with a subtle earthy roast background. Touch of soap. Within that there's a cigarette ash sort of coffee that barely comes into play. Decent.

Draft. Amber beer with a cream head. Dank and grapefruit aroma Dank and grapefruit flavor with light summer fruit. Medium bodied. Good bitterness. Dank and grapefruit linger with light summer fruit.

Super clear golden and light copper coloured body with a pretty thick, three centimetre tall off-white frothy and creamy head that stays afloat over the perfectly clear and effervescent body. Aroma of grass, hay, flowers, light citrus, tons of alpha acids and a good kick of bread and very biscuity malts in the nose, at least. Light to barely Medium-bodied; Relatively crisp and doughy, biscuity and pretty grainy malt notes dominate up front, but provide a nice support for some citrusey and lightly hoppy, bitter notes behind and a dry finish with a light kick of alcohol noticeable, too. Aftertaste shows some floral and perfumey notes from the hops, with a nice hop bitterness (relatively light for the style) but the biscuity, doughy and pretty strong malt and yeast notes stay strongest in the palate. Overall, a decent enough IPA that has a distinct malt quality that almost makes this taste like a lager, but this is crisp and does have some hop bitterness and a decently balanced IPA, on the light side. Nice to sample and really only worth the space in my suitcase from California to Oklahoma and back to Washington, because of the great price! I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from Trader Joe's in Fairfield, California on 28-August-2022 for US$2,09! canned on 26-May-2022 with #4629 marked on the bottom of the can, and sampled at my house here in Washington on 10-October-2022.

335 ml can from Beer Republic advent calendar poured into a Dimpled mug. Slightly hazy golden colour with a thin white head. Sweet aroma with pale malts, green berries, melon, and earthy floral hops. Bread. The taste is light sweet. Medium body. Slightly drying fruity finish. Nice, slick and crisp Lager.

473ml can from Abeervinum, Rimini, Italy. Pours light orange gold, hazy, with Aroma is citrus, orange and tangerine. Body is slightly thin, with average carbonation. Taste is medium bitter, but with quite some sweetness behind. Final is average, with still some bitterness.

Small fizzy white head. No retention. Aroma: straw, lemon peel and pale malts. Taste: zesty and peppery. Metallic mouthfeel. Yeasty and peppery aftertaste. Next one please!
