On tap at Corporate Ladder, pours black, tiny beige head. Aroma is extremely rich and complex, with intense bourbon barrels, brown sugar, molasses, some dark dried fruits, and toffee. Flavour is somewhat tart (not infected), with intensely deep bourbon barrel presence, tart-ish dark dried fruits, toffee, brown sugar, and a hint of roast. Great barrel presence, good base malts, but not sure about the tartness. This is clearly remarkably done, but what’s the deal with that tartness? Could be world-class without it. As is, just excellent.

On tap at Corporate Ladder, pours black with a small tan bead. Aroma has a nice deep toasted malt character, a touch of roast, and light nuttiness. Flavour is dry, with lots of toasted malt, light roast, and some earthy nuttiness. Nice malt character, attenuated pretty drily. Good.

On tap at Corporate Ladder, pours a clear blonde, tiny head. Aroma has notes of honey, PB2 powder, maybe some banana essence — ugh. Flavour is exceedingly sweet, with fake PB, some honey, not much banana, and just tons of sugars. This isn’t beer; nonsensical flavoured sugar boozy water.

On tap at Corporate Ladder, pours a clear bright reddish pink, no head. Aroma is full of strawberry syrup, not much else. Flavour is egregiously sweet and syrupy, with intense fake strawberry syrup, no PH. Nonsensical flavoured sugar boozy water. Terrible.

On tap at Corporate Ladder, pours a clear pale yellowish blonde with a small white head. Aroma has some tangy citrusy hops, bitter zest, and crisp biscuity malt. Flavour is quite hoppy, with dry floral hops, some light citrus, and crisp biscuity malt to back. Floral, modestly bitter finish. Decent.

On tap at Corporate Ladder, pours a clear pale golden with a small white head. Aroma has soft herbaceous notes, light grass, and biscuity malt. Flavour is much the same, with gentle herbaceous character, light grass, and dry bready malt. Mostly on-target flavour-wise, but I want more bitterness. Okay.

Tap at BeerTemple, Amsterdam, 4th February 2026, poured by mistake, this was supposed to be an IPA, so I was surprised ! Anyway it tasted of sweet apples, sugary and a little artificial, OK
