Description
We do this because we love it.

We love that it challenges us artistically and intellectually. We love it because it tests our patience in a world that screams by. We love it because there is success in every failure. We love it because it brings us together in a time where divisiveness is pervasive.

Barclay Brewing is a small brewery which primarily focuses on barrel-aged beers. Although the focus is barrel-aged we do release non barrel-aged beers as well. Keep an eye out for stouts, IPAs, lagers, and other classic styles.

You can find Barclay Brewing Co. operating out of Twelve Percent Beer Project where the incredibly talented staff is helping us to articulate our vision.

Waxed 22 oz. bottle at share. Flat, black pour. Aroma is what you would expect from an imperial stout, roasty malts, hint of chocolate. Little sign of any brandy. taste doesn't differ, big stouty flavors with some alcohol heat. Any barrel notes are heard to find. Still a great stout though.

Can from Chris M... I think: pours oily nlack with a brown head. Aroma is loads of coffee, hints of vanilla, dark chocolate, nuts of hazel. Taste is sweet, but not like a pastry. The bitterness is there. The coffee is bold and hardly an afterthought. It definitely is thick and sweet, but it is so in a nice way.

Can picked up at Kihoskh and drunk at home - pours a murky orange colour with a nice white head and sticky lacing. Dense juicy fruity with lots of tropical and citrus fruit in play, some over ripe mango, papaya, touch of mosaic blueberry and some sabro induced pineapple and light coconut washing in, creamy sweet malty backbone, light hop spice bite, robust dank hoppy finish. Lovely drop. --- Beer merged from original tick of DENSITY MATRIX - Citra, Mosaic, Sabro on 26 Mar 2025 at 12:13 - Score: 8.
