Description
Back in 1977, during the height of the troubles, a killer whale got stuck in the River Foyle in Derry whilst chasing a run of salmon. Our witty locals nicknamed him 'Dopey Dick' due to his poor navigation skills. Keeping the story alive, we decided to name our Brewery in Dopey's honour.

Dopey Dick Brewing Company is building from the ground up, and our selection of passionately crafted beers is growing by the day.

On tap at the Guildhall Taphouse in Derry. Slightly hazy golden lemon in color with a decent bubbly white head. Lemony citrus against a bready toasty maltiness. A little thin but does the trick on this beautiful day on the patio.
