Dark black. Fresh fruita nd coffee in the nose. Hits big with tar, salty licorice molasses and alcohol. Full bodied with thick mouthfeel and a lingering tarry salty finish. Powerful, even for an imperial stout, and distinguishing itself from the "middle-of-the-road imperial stout" (is there such a thing?) with it's touch of fresh fruits.
