Bottled. A very dark red-brown beer with a lazing brown head. The aroma has notes of candy sugar and malt as well as hints of spices - a bit of cloves, and some herbal notes. The flavor is sweet with a strong malty impression on which is quite strong notes of candy sugar, again combined with subdued notes of spices and herbs, leading to a dry sugary finish. The alcohol tickles the tongue.

cloudy brown, smooth light brown head. toffee and nuts dominate the aroma, quite bitter, also a little bitter from spices. of spices i would expect cinnamon and anise. flavor is spicy, bitter, sweet, faint sweet dark fruity. somewhat sweeter than the aroma, the strange bitterness from the aroma is still there.

500 ml bottle. Slightly dim, golden body with a big, foamy off-white head. Aroma is mild spicy, fruity. Flavor is sweet, like white sugar, mild malty, a hint of caramel, spicy and a touch of warming alcohol. Nothing really wrong here, but not particular exiting either. More like a belgum tripel/blond than dobbelbock.

clear dark amber, smooth smallish light brown head. spicy cardemom, vanilla dominated aroma, also faint roasted malts, faint dark fruits. spices dominate totally. flavor is spicy, faint sourish fruity, roasted caramelly. this is not one of those danish micros with not much flavor in it, quite a flavorbomb, but the flavors seem to be from added spices, berries etc. not so much from the malts and hops. Still would prefer this one over many of the more boring christmas brews out there.
