Bottle 33 cl. Pours black and opaque with a creamy, light brown head. Burned and ashy malt in the nose. Quite full-bodied, lots of hard roasted malt and salty licorice. Malt bitter finish. Delicious. 130809

Bottle 33 cl. Hazy and opaque golden with an off-white head. Very fresh and fruity nose, with some yeast. Quite full-bodied, lots of fruit and malt and again some yeast. No bitterness. A Bière de Garde at 9%?? 130809

50cl bottle. pours an unclear yellow, with a large pudding like white head. aroma is swet, dry, grainy but it comes off as qute pleasing and refreshing. flavor is bitter, dry, faint sweet, quenching and tasting, aftertaste is bitter and faintly sweet and asks for more. Good lunch beer.

Bottle 50cl.Clear medium to dark red amber color with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, light off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, nutty, sweet, spicy. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is light to moderate alcoholic. [20090527]

Bottle 50cl.Unclear medium yellow color with a average to large, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is light to moderate malty, grain, spelt, light yeasty, dough notes. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average duration. Body is medium to light, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft. [20090527]

Black with a lasting light brown head. Aroma of licorice, chocolate and a little dried fruit. Sweet roasted flavour with licorice, fruit and dark chocolate. Very full bodied bordering on cloying.

Pitch black with a dark medium beige head. Sweet aroma with burned malt, coffee, liquerice and dark bitter chocolate. Flavour had smoke, chocolate, espresso, hops and burned malt. Delicious.

Hazy orange with a tiny white head. Sweet fruity aroma with malty and caramel notes. Flavour was sweet spices, malt, cardemum and yeasty notes. Finished sweet.

Hazy copper with a small off-white head. Lots of Belgian yeast in the aroma with spice and fruit. Some malt is noticed as well. Sweet malt and fruit flavour with chocolate-like roasted notes.
