(Bottle 50 cl) Courtesy of yespr. Slightly hazy amber golden with an off-white head. Spicy and somewhat licorice-like aroma. Medium-bodied with some fruit and again some licorice notes. The finish is dry. Not bad but very far from a classic Heller Bock. 190608

Aroma is moderate malty, wheat, berry, fruity, spicy - rowan berry, moderate yeasty. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet with a average duration. Bottle. Small head with short duration. Color is golden. Aroma and taste are sweet and fruity with notes of citrus and yeast. More like a trippel than a doppelbock imo.

Draught at ÅBF08. Hint of plastic in the aroma. Otherwise a little yeasty. The flavour starts off citric. There is also some good maltiness, and OK sweetness. Cloudy yellow colour. Small creamy white head. Creamy mouthfeel and flavour.
