On tap at the source. Pours with a large white head with a clear and slightly deep yellow body. Aromas of grapefruit, citrus peel, spicy, pungent, tangerine. Flavors are very interesting and pretty solid. Tangerine, grapefruit, bracing co-humulone abrasive bitterness...but it works. Dank, dry, lots of grapefruit, lively bubbles, dry.

Flavors are bready, roasty, floral, hoppy, bitter. Finishes a bit nutty. Medium to slightly fuller bodied. Dryish for its size. Really well put together.

On tap at the source. Pours with a large white head over a clear golden hued body. Aromas are floral, grainy, light citrus. Flavors are lightly nutty, grainy first, floral citrus, a bit weak. This might be a slightly older batch. Watery, thin and dry. Wasn’t their best hoppy beer on that day.

On tap at Ocean Beach. Pours with a clear golden body with a small, but lasting white head. Aromas are very hoppy and floral, fruity, apricot, dank, stone fruit. Very nice. Flavors are of tropical fruit, nectarine, dank, nice bitterness, lightly grainy with a bit of a crystal like sweetness. Floral, really well done. Lightly spicy. Medium to lively bubbles, floral, dry with a lasting bitterness and light alcohol. Another text book big IPA from the Pizza Port chain.

On tap at GABF as "When the Wife’s Away" and later at the brewpub (that rating is coming soon). Pours with a hazy golden hued body with a white head that lasts. Good lace as well. Aromas are floral, a bit sweet, dank, CTZ, and citrus. Flavors show a small hint of diacetyl, caramel, a bit grassy, mango and dank CTZ. Medium bubbles with a dry finish.

On tap at the source. Pours with a clear golden body with a small white head that lasts and leaves good lace. Aromas are hugely dank, floral, citrus, tangerine, mango and some honey notes. Flavors are a bit sweeter than I like, some crystal like malt, fruity, citrus papaya. Medium to slightly lively bubbles, medium bodied. Mild butterscotch/diacetyl as it warms (which I forgot that I had noted at GABF, but it was there in both samples in Denver and at the brewpub (subtle). Pretty good IPA overall.
