On tap at Pizza Port San Clemente’s Hoptoberfest. I loved this beer (as did a lot of people I spoke to, but a few didn’t and I can see why). Pours with a clear golden body with a white head. Strongly catty (cat urine) aroma, with big notes of mango, papaya, really floral hops and light crystal. Flavor has absolutely no catty notes. Hugely floral with tropical fruit. Insanely fruit, very floral. Lively bubbles. Very delicious!

Sample at the San Clemente brewpub. Pours a clear golden color with a thin and densely packed white head that disappears slowly. Sticky sheet of lacing on the glass. Bready malt and sweet corn in the nose. Light and creamy body with flavors of sweet malt, toffee and mild hops. The finish is short with a lingering sweetness. Slightly above average overall.

Draft. Amber beer with a whitish head. Grapefruit and light pine aroma. Big grapefruit flavor with tropical fruit and light pine. Medium bodied. Good bitterness. Grapefruit and tropical fruit lingers with light pine and light caramel.
