Smaakt totaal niet naar een IPA. Eerder een kruidige lager. Niet opgedronken.

Bottled at El Deposito, Mexico City. Dark mahogany/ruby, small head. Aroma of iron, lingonberry and coffee. Dry with fairly clean mouthfeel and light-medium body. Iron dominates initially, then roasted chestnuts and cranberry comes through. Finishes with relatively low bitterness. Had high hopes on the porter, after having had their stout, but this one feels disharmonious with the iron and a clean, almost watery mouthfeel.

Bottled at El Deposito, Mexico City. Very dark brown, small beige head. Rich chocolate and coffee aroma. Mid dry with soft mouthfeel and medium body. Tobacco and coffee dominates. Mild roasty malt, enjoyable tones of leather and licorice. Mid bitter finish. Not really complex, but really enjoyable!
