Sample at SBWF 2015. Almost black with a tan head. Fairly mild with roasted malt, milk chocolate, vanilla and some dried fruit. The finish was sweetish and with a light bitterness. A descent one.

Amber colored, somewhat cloudy, medium- white creamy head. Aroma is sweet caramalt, lots of tropical fruits, citrus and pine. Taste is medium to strong sweet caramalt backbone, tropical fruits and grapefruit, some less pine, some signs of carob indicating the freshness of the bottle, medium+ bitterness, bittersweet finish, resiny. Medium to full bodied and moderate carbonation.

Bottle split at GBBF ’15, day 1, 11/08/15. Clear golden with a decent off white covering. Nose is tangerine, pine, caramel malt, light spice, grapefruit. Taste comprises orange pith, pine needle, tangerine, straw, grapefruit. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, earthy hop bitterness in the close. Ok DIPA.

Lightly hazy amber beer, good cream colour head. Smooth airy palate, decent fine carbonation. Soft creamy malts, mild caramel. Crystallised orange fruits and hop spice. Mild to medium bitterness. A little resin and hop skunk. Pine. Finishes smooth with marmalade and more hop spice. Good one if not spectacular.

Bottle at GBBF 2015. It pours clear amber with a small yellow-white head. The nose is soft, sweet, oily, sugary bread, caramel, sweet peach and orange rind. The taste is crisp, bitter-sweet, punchy bitterness, dank grassy action, caramel, oily, toasty, alcohol boost, cracker pepper and orange rind with a dry, spicy finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Rich and oily. Nice old-school DIPA character. Decent.

Bomber shared at GBBF 2015. It pours a honey orange gold with a fruity hop nose. The carbonation is dry & zesty while the taste is earthy hop driven citrusy goodness. Alright.

Bottle from GBBF 2015 and drunk at home. Big toffee piney resiny hoppy aroma. More toffee than hop though. Not horrible or terrible, just more a toffee dipa than a hoppy dipa. Toffee up front but I do like the hops on the finish, some bitterness. I rather liked it. Yes a bit sweet up front but the hops on the finish are tasty.

Bottle at chriso’s. Pours deep reddish brown with a frothy tan head. The nose holds burnt toast, milk chocolate, berry skins, earth. Medium sweet flavor with sugary dark bread, leathery dark fruits, simple chocolate. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Sugary dark malt finish, with prominent milk chocolate, burnt toast, dried dark fruits. Not bad.

Bottle at chriso’s. Pours clear deep gold with a frothy white head. Big piney and resinous aroma, bread, ripe orange. Medium to heavy sweet flavor with lots of gooey citrus, oily pine, bready malts, some ripe tropical fruits. Medium to full bodied with fine carbonation. Warming and resinous on the finish, with more ripe citrus, tropical fruits, pine, bread. Good stuff. (August 2015, score: 3.7)

Medium to big sweet flavor with some peach, mango, orange, low bitterness. Full bodied, oily, with fine carbonation. Lightly warming finish with gooey citrus fruits, light piney bitterness, more ripe tropical fruits. Good stuff. (August 2015, score: 3.6)
