At Internationales Berliner Bierfestival 2018. Hazy light amber with a small head. Quite heavy with malt, toffee, light hops and alcohol. Unbalanced and with warming alcohol in the finish.

At Internationales Berliner Bierfestival. Dark amber with a small head. Aroma of peat, smoke and malt. The same in the taste. Some alcohol in the finish.

Tap at the brewpub. Beer in the glass very zippy, huge head. Fruity aroma. Starts mild, malty, more and more hoppy fruity with some very interesting elder notes. Well balanced finish. Quite drinkable. Not bad!

19/6/2018. Bottle at Getränkefeinkost, Leipzig. Pours dark mahogany brown to black with a small off-white to beige head. Aroma of chocolate, malt, coffee, caramel, vanilla and moderate roasting. Medium sweetness, moderate bitterness. Medium body, slight oily and watery texture, average to soft carbonation.

Tap at Bierbörse Leipzig May 2018. Looks good in the glass zippy, small head. reddish colour. Starts mild, malty, light sourish, light salty hints. Notes of some herbs. Spicy finish, light fruity-sourish. All in all not as salty as other gose beers. Still quite interesting!

getrunken im Frühling 2018
Erstmal herzlichen Dank an meine Kollegin Lisa, die mir dieses Bier von einer Berlin-Reise mitgebracht hat. Das Getränk besteht zu 98% aus Weißbier und 2% Himbeersirup. Trotz des überwiegenden Bieranteils ist es zuckerl-rosa und picksüß und hat doch einen saftigen Alkoholgehalt von 4,5 vol-%. Es erinnert entfernt an Berliner Weiße mit Schuss, auch wenn es keinerlei saure oder bananige Aromen hat wie Weizenbier. Es dominert der Himbeergeschmack - der leicht herbe Biergeschmack hält sich zu sehr zurück. Es bleibt mir die Frage, für wen das Bier produziert wird. Einhörner sind gerade "in" und dass Einhörner Regenbogen kotzen (wie auf dem Etikett sehr lustig dargestellt wird) ist nun auch bekannt. Als Zielgruppe eignen sich einhornaffine "kleine Mädchen" wohl nicht, einfach weil sie kein Bier trinken dürfen, die Zielgruppe "große Mädchen" würde schon eher Sinn machen, wobei das keine klassischen Biertrinkerinnen sind...aber allzu sehr nach Bier schmeckt es ja eh nicht. Wohl ein Bier für Junggesellinnen-Ausflüge und ein Partygag für Hipster.
