APPEARANCE: light orange color and cristal clear. medium-low white head with low retention. TASTE: initial medium-low grapefruit, followed by low neutral malt background with slight sweetness and medium-low clean sourness. low bitterness replaced by sourness. finishes dry and slightly sour and salty. MOUTHFEEL: low body medium-low carbonation. OVERALL: an ok fruit Gose.

AROMA: medium-low rice-lke aroma followed by medium-low malty aroma with slight toffee character. APPEARANCE: dark amber color and clear with slight ruby highlights. medium-low beige head with good retention. TASTE: similar to the aroma with medium-low malt notes (toasty, rye bread, slight toffee). medium bitterness with a dry finish. MOUTHFEEL: medium-low body with medium-low carbonation. OVERALL: an ok session american brown ale with interesting notes.

12 fl. oz. can from the Beer Republic advent calendar. Cloudy dark golden with a more than one finger white foamy head in the glass. Looks good. Floral and citrus hoppy with resin on the nose. Taste starts with bitter hop and malt, some fruity elements, low carbonation. Dry malty bitterness to the end. Nice one.

Optisch dunkles Gold, Schaum passt, hübsche Dose. Im der Nase sehr hopfig, im Trunk harzig, reife Trauben, dezent Alkohol, erdig, passt.

Dark golden colour with thin head. Aroma and flavour have intense caramel malt notes. Really rounded earthy, piney bitterness. Superb.

Can drunk after hanging the ceiling absorbers with Basti. Caramel, earthy pine flavors, lasting bitterness that's pretty smooth. Really nice West Coast beer!

Can as part of the Beer Republic, Breda, Netherlands Bier Adventskalender had this Wednesday 13th December 2023, listening to Huw Stephens on 6Music. Decent bite, good bitterness, liking the malty backbone and solid bitterness. Certainly edging towards a classic but with a more modern twist, and in that respect they've nailed it. Excellent stuff, however is it really 100IBUs?
