Dark, oily color with a thick but quickly disappearing brown head. Great roasted coffee and cinnamon aroma. Flavor is creamy and sweet from the get-go, which is just how I like my Oatmeal Stouts. The coffee and chocolate flavor had a nice light hops and raisin finish to balance it out. Not the best Stout I have had but it is definitely up there, and is not very expensive either.

A rather good pale ale. Dark yellow color with a medium long lasting head. Rich hop aroma is both citric and spicy. Flavor is dominated by hops (again citric and spicy). Medium malt -just enough to balance it, but its still mainly a hop beer. Biting on the tongue, fizzy, with a lingering dry, stinging aftertaste that can be felt in the throat.

Very nice and fairly Englishy. Dark orangey-amber color, with light foamy head. Medium bodied, and fairly smooth. This is a beer that demands to be drunk at cellar temp. When cold its overwhelmingly bitter and unbalanced, but at cellar temp, its gentle malt fruitiness shows up and proves nice character. Its still on the bitter side, but palatably so. Aroma is herbal and fruity.

Very enjoyable and quite similar to real cask-conditioned ale (for a bottled beer). Lightly carbonated, very smooth body, foamy head, cloudy light brown color. Mild fruitiness is balanced nicely by a medium bitterness and grassy/herbal hop flavor and aroma. I really like this.

Nice roasted yet sweetish flavor. Perhaps a bit on the sharp side. Quite good but it didn't really ring my bell.

Whew - lots of hops. Enjoyable and as I've described for other ultra-hoppy IPA's - they make great digestifs after heavy meals. This one included.

Fairly enjoyable stout. Smooth, good oatmeal flavour. You could do worse...

All dressed up with nowhere to go. Typical for this brewery, it's good technically, but has absolutely no style.
