Can. Cloudy, amber in color with hardly any head. Aroma was kind of boozy with a slight fruit cake smell. Taste is kind of sweet and bourbon barrel.

Can from Die Bierkonig, consumed on the streets of A’dam. It’s what it says on the tin really, pleasantly tart with a slight, but definite watermelon character and a good portion of salt, mainly in the finish. Light bodied, easy to drink.

Dark brown pour, with a big beige head. Aroma is loaded with sweet malts, loads of pie spices and a heck of alot of Bourbon barrel. Vanilla, oak, and sweet bready, and boozy malts. Thick, oily mouth feel, medium carb. Very low bitterness, the finish is quite sweet an bozy thing of mixing canned pumpkin pie filling with a shot of Bourbon and a chunk of dank, old, boozy soaked barrel. Interesting, but big and a bit overwhelming.

Slightly hazy orange pour, with a sticky ample off white cream colored head. This is an old school double ipa. A huge malt backbone demonstrated by ample biscuity malts and some big pine resin hops with hints of candied citrus peel. The body is a tad oily, and the carb is about what you’d expect. The finish is a little soapy and very resinous. With a medium bitterness, a nice summer sipper, not like today’s grapefruit dipa bombs, old school, and I like it.

Black pour, medium beige head. Sweet malty aroma, lots of milk chocolate, and some roasty, yet lightly roasted malts. Very low bitterness, silly mouth feel. Lots of sweet milk chocolate notes, with a touch of lactose.
