Description
Alpine Beer Company began with Patrick and Valerie McIlhenney in 1999. We are a small-town brewery, nestled in the foothills of the mountains just outside of San Diego. From IPAs to small-batch sours, we’ve been crafting high-quality ales since 1999. Known as the “Home of Pure Hoppiness,” people travel from near and far to try our special brews. Now you can bring home a little taste of hoppiness from Alpine.
In 2014 Alpine Beer Company and Green Flash officially joined forces, allowing for the expansion that Pat had been working on to become an immediate reality.
In December 2021, Alpine Beer Co. was acquried by Atlanta-based SweetWater Brewing Co.

355 ml can. Unclear amber, foamy head. Resin, pine, caramel, zesty lemon notes, hops with a fruity hint of papaya and pineapples. Hoppy bitterness, malty sweetness. Full to medium bodied, oily texture, lively to soft carbonated, hoppy bittersweet finish. Great West Coast IPA, clean and straightforward but still fruity though.

Can at home. Clear golden color, medium sized white head. Aroma is quite faint tbh. Flavor is malts, hops, decent hoppy bitters. Not very outspoken but alright.

Can at home. Bright yellow color with a medium sized white head. Aroma is malts, malt bitter, hop bitter and a distant hint of smoke somehow. Flavor is similar to the aroma: malts, malt bitterness, hop, bitter hops. I really like it, nice refreshing bitterness. Decent to medium body and carbonation. Very nice.

Hazy yellow with a huge foamy white head that lingered and left excellent lacing. Tart with citrus, cactus and a bit of earthiness. Long finish. Medium body.
