Bottle @ Ulfborg Easter Tasting, 2011. Pours clear golden with a bubbly off white head. Sweet honey and apples. Sugar and syrup. Low carbonation. Cloying . Warmth . . Had worse.

Bottle, courtesy of fonefan. A clear, oily mead, still. Slightly petrol-like on the nose, with flowers, honey, some red apples and of course, honey. The flavor is dominated by honey, but there’s also alcohol, some apple and flowers. Oily, full-bodied and very warming. Overall, not bad, but too warming. 110416

Bottle 37,5 cl. Courtesy of fonefan. Pours a clear golden. Strange smoky nose combined with sugar and heavy alcohol. Solid body, sweet flowery pollen notes, again smoke and syrup - honey not so much. Boozy finish, almost fusel-like. A strange and rough Mead. 160411
