Bottle. Almost black body, at least very dark brown, with a small, dark beige head. Quite smoked and burnt aroma, some dark dried fruits chiming in. Smoked and burnt flavor tending towards charcoal and bonfire. Prune notes in the back, and some bitterness. Full body, quite dry and with a pleasant carbonation level. Long finish with lots of dark malt flavors. Pretty nice this one, even though it’s a tad one dimensional. 131123

Ulfborg weekend celebration of nothing in particular. Near black with a small off-white head. Aroma of roasted malt, licorice and band aid. Dry, roasted flavour with smoke, band aid and ash. Not a fan of the peat smoke

Bottle. Aroma: grapefruit, resin, a bit of roasted malt and caramel. Black colour, nice white, thick head, which lasts quite long. Medium to heavy bitterness. Medium body, soft carbonation. At the beginning the beer was well-balanced between the bitterness and malt and easy to drink, after some time I was hit by the 80 IBUs and it wasn’t so pleasant. If I repeat it, I will rather take a small one.

Bottled 500ml. -Black coloured, small brownish head, chocolate in the nose. Roasted malt, bitter chocolate and hint of smoke with mild coffee presence in the finish. Dryish bitter finish. Nice one.
