On tap at the brewpub. A clear orange brown beer with a beige head. Aroma is strong malty, caramel, bitter hops, soft metallic hops. Taste of strong caramelized malt, nuts, spicy and soft metallic hops.

On tap at the brewpub. A clear very dark brown beer with a beige head. Aroma of mild roasted dark malt and liquorice. Taste of liquorice, dark caramelized malt, some chocolate.

On tap at the brewpub. A hazy golden beer with a off white head. Aroma of yeasty malt, pale malt, slightly sweet malt. Taste of moderate sweet grainy malt, straw, yeasty finish.

(Bottle, 0.5 l, thanks VastActiv/TimoA, 20170707) The beer poured deep amber and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had fruitiness, floralness and malts. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, sweetness, floralness, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was hoppy and bitter. A very floral IPA. Not my thing.

Bottle 0.33l at Ilmonen, Helsinki. Color is slightly cloudy orange with small white head. Aromas and flavors: Pine, some hops and malts. Basic bad German IPA.

Aroma has toffee typical to English ales and some roasted notes. Flavour has toffee, some coffee tones and minerals. Not your typical schwartz and not good.

Aroma has grassy hops and some malt. Also cardboardy tones. Flavour has unpleasant herbal hops, some honey-ish malt and mild minerals. Finishes with herbal bitterness. Not my thing.

Aroma has sweet malt and banana esthers. Flavour has banana esthers, minerals, sweet fruits and mild mineral tones. Finishes with some hoppiness. Good.

Aroma has grainy malt and some bush leaves. Feels slightly contaminated? Flavour has grain, cereal, sour berries and bush leaves. Yep, definitely somewhat contaminated – reminds me of some Koulu beers.

Bottled 500ml (Timo A’s Fliptop tasting). Clear amber color, small off-white head. Caramel, malts, grass in the nose. Light to medium-bodied. Caramel in the front, crisp, sweetish. Tolerable.
