Medium dark golden color. Pineapple, white grapefruit and biscuity nose. Pretty big candied pineapple punch with some underlying sweetness on top of modest bitterness. Not as malt forward as expecting. Pretty good stuff

16 ounce can. Pours a cloudy orange color with a small to medium white head. A big sweet tropical nose. Rich, the overly powerful pulp element that so many hazy IPAs have is not here, smooth, peaches, mango. Light toasted base. Lemon zest. This is lovely. Perfect smooth hazy.

Called an Imperial stout on the menu. Black body with no head. Light barrel aroma. Full bodied taste with malt, toffee and barrel notes. Long all over the tongue finish. Tastes much better than it smells.

On tap at Culmination, pours a deep dark reddish purple with a small pink head. Aroma brings out lots of raspberries and blackberries, with moderate lacto. Flavour is along the same lines, with tart raspberries and blackberries, plenty of pith, and lacto. Very fruity and sour, with tons of depth. Very good.

On tap at loyal legion pours out a hazy straw color topped with a white head. Nose is nice mango tropical hops and some sweet malts. Taste is more of the nice sweet malts light tropical fruit hops and some soap on the end.

Draft pour pint at Sandy Hut, PDX. Mostly clean golden orange pour, rocky foam head. Quite a nice mix of piney bitterness, tropical and citrus fruit, and melon on the flavor. Refreshing taste. Pineapple like fruit, with a sturdy bitterness. Not a typical IPA for sure. Tasty brew.

Draught. Clear gold pour with white head. A lawny aroma. Taste is light malt with hop sprinkled in it. Nice finish.

Taster at Loyal Legion. Pale golden, mildly hazy, small skin of head. Aroma hints St some citrusy hops. Taste too follows with some mild hoppy bitterness, associated dryness. Typical IPA notes, without a hint at the elevated ABV.

Draft. Deep brown body. Big bubbled head, rapidly diminishing. Aroma of oak, sweet plum, raisin, whiskey, roasted malt, cocoa. The flavor is moderately to heavily sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes moderately sweet and lightly bitter. Medium body, watery/velvety texture, moderate carbonation. Sweetness just bordering on cloying. Light on the whiskey for being aged in whiskey barrels, but that’s better than the whiskey overpowering the nose and flavor. Enticing aroma. Taste of dark fruits, sweet cherry, cocoa and oak. A nice sipper.
