[2/25/15] Draught at Horse Brass in Portland. Cloudy golden. Citric and tropical hops aroma. Dry flavor with fruity hops and a bitterish finish. Medium-bodied.

On tap at Horse Brass. Pours a clear copper color with a medium white head. The flavor is rich orange citrus, resin, rich sweet ipa. Huge resin.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a clear reddish color with a medium white head. A nice fruity nose, oranges and caramel. The flavor is fairly bitter, lots of late boil hops, yeasty and dry at times, caramel. A robust amber.

On tap at the brewery. Very nice beer. Pours a pitch black color with a medium brown head. A smooth nose of roast, heat, cherries. The flavor is big dark fruit, vanilla, toffee, molasses, a it of leather. Awesome stout. Quite heavy, some viscous elements, pretty creamy palate overall. Good.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a super cloudy-stunningly thick and cloudy- golden color with a medium white head. A sweet herbal tea nose with lemons. The flavor is fine: mellow tea-like, Earl Grey I’d say, lemons and oranges, some yeast. Almost no bitterness.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a almost pure black color with a medium white head. A light nose of chocolates, some lactose. The flavor is medium toasted malts, lean chocolates, caramel, toffee perhaps, a bit thin. Some milkiness. OK.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a dark mahogany color with a medium white head. A sweet nose of dusty caramel, some fruitcake. The flavor is cherries, dust, toasted malts, yeast, caramel, light heat. A bit of energetic fruity hops. Good beer.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a clear dark amber/brown color with a medium white head. A roasty chocolate nose, some ash. The flavor is roasted malts, dark chocolates, bitter hops, light pine, a robust dark beer. More porter than IPA.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a clear yellow color with a medium white head. A smooth nose of lemons, some sweeter malts. Light resin, honey, big bitter lemons, some lingering bitterness and dry earthiness in the finish. Good.

Draft at the source. Deep dark brown color, small beige head. Aroma of milk chocolate. Taste is sweet and silly dark cocoa, latte macchiato. Very nice.
