(bottle, traded with Saarlander) Clear, pale golden colour with a small foamy white head, leaving some lace. Slightly sweet grainy aroma with a tinge of herbal hops. Moderately bitter flavour, light to medium bodied, crispy mouthfeel. Initially soft malty, slightly herbal; dry and slightly bitter finish with light notes of herbal hops. Unspectacular.

(bottle, traded with Saarlander) Clear, pale golden colour with a foamy white medium head. Mild malty aroma, slightly sweet with a faint touch of herbal and grassy hops. Light-bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a crispy carbonation. Initially soft malty with a herbal background; dry and slightly bitter finish with a tinge of herbal hops. Drinkable but also a bit boring classic german Pils.

Can: Poured a golden to natural amber color with a foamy white head. Grassy hoppy aroma was overwelming. Sour grainy flavor throught.

Sehr gut! Test vom 14.9.2006, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 7,12,15,14,8,13 - 12,45

Can (Intermarche, Calais 0,26 cent!): Golden coloured, slowly diminishing big fluffy head; sweetish-grainy nose, sweetish (grainy) flavour, light bodied to watery; sweetish-grainy (again !) finish with an illusion of bitterness. Cheap and boring.........

Bottle (labelled Karlsbräu Lager). Sour malt aroma. Light yellow color with small head. Slightly sweet malt flavor with moderate hops finish. Usually German beers called lagers are pretty poor - however being a German pilsener explains why this one is better than other German lagers/export beers.
