Bottle thanks to Chow. Pours a cloudy amber with small off white head leaving spotty lacing. The aroma is cherry skin, oak, funk, vanilla. Thin body, tart cherry, oak, leather, vinegar, puckering sour, very good.

12 oz. bottle. Pours a slightly hazy, orange color, with a big, fizzy, white head. Smells of orange juice, pine, cloves, and some vanilla. Sweet and juicy, and just a little bitter. Light body, with a smooth, lightly acidic mouthfeel. This is a mellow and pretty tasty beer.

From Oct 2005
Poured from the bottle, it formed a decent head that lingered for a while then settled into a fine partial layer.
The smell of this deep gold brew is pretty malty but not all that exciting.
The taste is a decent balance of hops and malt with the malt lingering in the aftertaste quite well.
Overall, a good product from Coors that doesn't exactly titilate the taste buds but *is* quite drinkable.
PS: This is the first Winterfest I've seen for many years. If memory serves me well, the first editions of this product were much more complex.

At Coors. More of an amber color. Served cold. Some caramel, malt flavor.hops are light, some bitter grain. More of an Irish or Vienna than a pale lager.

From old tasting notes. Labeled as "Killian’s Wilde Honey". Bright copper color topped by a rocky beige head. Aromatic sweet malty nose with obvious honey overtones. Smooth bittersweet toasted malt flavor hints at honey and caramel. There is a buttery, chewy feel to this ale. Slightly complex and tasty. Nice hop finish.
