Draught @ Thiriez Hop Fest 2025. Pours a very lightly misty gold, pure white head. Fresh, hoppy nose with vibrant saison yeast. Flavour profile continues with an excellent, fresh saison profile, light and almost fluffy in feel. Lovely.

Draft @ the brewery, Outtersteene during the Balade Flamande 4 cycling event Tour de France weekend. Pours a misty gold, solid white head. Aroma if bitter grapefruit. Taste brings a cutting bitterness with some grapefruit zest and a little pine, pretty refreshing towards the end of the ride and great to finally visit the brewery. Decent.

375ml bottle @ Belgian Beer Geeks Winter Gathering. Pours dark, loose off-white bubbles atop, forming a ring. Medium bodied barley wine with a settled amber malt sweetness and a thin bourbon cloak. A little lacklustre compared to the cognac BA if I'm honest.

1/III/25 - 75cl bottle @ Belgian Beer Geek Gathering (2025 Winter/Spring edition), BB: ?, DDM: 11/22, vintage 2021 (2025-197) Thanks to minutemat for sharing the bottle!

Cloudy murky brown beer, practically no head. Aroma: very yeasty, banana, caramel, malty, grains. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: bitter, good roast, alcohol, very yeasty, lots of banana peel, bitter touch. Aftertaste: more bitterness, yeasty, hoppy bitter finish, not getting much of that bourbon?

375ml bottle from the producer. Pours very dark, minimal ring of off-white bubbles circling the glass. Aroma of chocolate, dark dried fruits, oak, cognac. Palate-coating, oily chocolatey impressions, full bodied with a cakey feel, integrated cognac murmurs.. quite delectable.

Draft @ Cafe Bellenaert, Bailleul. Pours a hazed yellow, large white head. Soft autumnal malt aroma. Nicely rustic feel, fresh, soft malt harvest, nicely complimentary hop bitterness on the close. Lovely.
