(Bottle, 0.33 l - batch 586 - BBE 06/2022, from Alko, 20201106) The beer poured black. Its head was medium sized and lightly brown. Aroma had burnt malts, dark chocolate, sweetness and rhum. Palate was full bodied and warming with medium carbonation. Flavours were sweetness, wood, rhum, burnt malts, ash and bitterness. Aftertaste had burnt malts, booze and bitterness. An unbalanced brew with booziness but also some pleasant burnt notes.

A brown beer, a head is quite small and beige. Aroma has herbal spicyness, pine, caramel, funny. Taste has herbs, wood, sourness of berries, some pine. Medium bodied. The aroma is fashinating, but the taste isn't balanced. Only once.

Dark brown colour, steady beige head. Roasted earthy aroma with some spices and dark chocolate. Full-bodied, smooth palate. Roasted, robust, some sweetish bourbon, light spiceyness. Warming. Very smooth impy. Barrel ageing improves the base beer.

Tap at Beer Hunters. Opaque colour and small beige head. Toasted sweet vanilla-oak nose. Medium-bodied. Toasted, oak wood and vanilla dominate the flavour. Some alcohol. Ok.

33 cl bottle @ home. Batch #586, BBE 2022 Aroma is sweet with cocoa and liquor. Also licorice and rum. Flavour has rum, licorice, liquor, odd woody tones. Aroma was promising but flavour is a big disappointment. Like the backbone was unable to carry the rum at all.
