Twist top bottle, 33cl: BB 9th February 2022, obtained from Beers of Europe. Drank at home on 20th September 2021. Clean and clear light golden body, short lived white head. Not much going on really, weak aroma, weak flavours and weak body. Mini malty/grainy nose and taste, but not enough to give any sweetness, mild grassy hop content, but not enough to give any bitterness.

Twist-top 33cl bottle (at 5.2%) from Beers of Europe: BB 25th January 2022. Poured into an old Hoegaarden Grand Gru stemmed tulip glass at home on 16th September 2021. Dark cola body, beige head that didn't hang around very long. Malty nose with a damp cardboard undertone. Fizzy mouthfeel, semi-sweet malty taste, but it lacks depth, body and 'oomph'. It's watery and a very poor example of a dark lager.

Dumpy 33cl bottle as Appenzeller BRAND Löscher: From Beers of Europe; BB 26th January 2022. Poured into an old Hoegaarden Grand Cru stemmed tulip glass at home on 14th September 2021. Raclette prepped, time for a calm beer before the guest and wife arrive. Clean and clear golden amber body, thin white covering, which soon turned to a wisp and mini-collar. Caramel/malty molasses in the aroma and taste, they forgot to put the hops in and this is a bit of a mess really; even for my sweet tooth. New brewery and regional tick, I've six more beers from these guys to try, hope they get a bit better than this one.

Bottle, online from Beers of Europe. Pours light golden with a small, diminishing head. Aroma: light malty, light sweet, faint bread and light cardboard. Taste: light sweet with low bitterness, vaguely malty, faint bread, a little metallic. Light body with low carbonation. So dull & flavourless
