33cl bottle shared by Arve_Christian (thanks!) Pours slightly hazy amber with an off-white head. Smell a bit strange. Aroma of caramel, malt, sour wood with hints of smoke, fruits and some basement notes. Alcohol is quite well integrated for a 11% beer. Quite sweet with some wooden sourness and a bit harsh bitterness in the finish. Quite strange, but interesting enough. (2013-06-05)

Bottle brought back by my wife from Swiss holiday. Hazy orange colour with a white head. Malt and fruit aroma. Medium body. Flowery. OK.

Clear golden coloured body with a soapy white head that fades fast. Aroma of metal and lemons, not much else! Light-bodied; Strong metallic flavour with some lemons, sugar and a touch of rice. Aftertaste fairly mild with only some light lemon and malty tastes. Overall, decent with a light and fresh flavour, only a bit better when drinking after skiing the Alps and seeing Zermatt right in front of you! I sampled this 50 cL can purchased from Drinks of the World in Zurich, Switzerland for CHF2,00 sampled a few days later on 10-November-2009 in Zermatt, Switzerland.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Yoav’s place. Thanks kerenmk. Black-colored with a light brown head. Aroma of chocolate, roastiness, a bit of licorice notes and faint alcohol note. Bittersweet roasty flavor with coffee, some dark chocolate and a slightly bitter and slightly burnt finish. Medium-bodied. Nice, kind of a Stout-ish Schwarzbier.

Petite bouteille. Nez de grains de malt pâle sucrés avec des notes de houblon floral et herbeux (foin), léger de maïs ainsi qu’avecdes notes de légumes bouillis. Mince en bouche avec un pétillement moyen-fort et une texture aqueuse. Goût de grains de malt pâles légèrement croustillant avec de très faibles notes de légumes boullis lors de l’entrée en bouche suivi dde notes sucrées de maïs et une finale comportant un goût de houblon herbeux (gazon mouillé) aux faibles notes florales et asséchantes. Post-goût court aux notes sèches, légèrement amer de houblon herbeux aux notes florales.
