33cl bottle from COOP, Moudon, BB 26/04/2013. Dorée, col blanc épais. Arôme est houblonné et fleuri avec ce malt typique, léger grains et typique du style lager. En bouche, note de grains, le tout est sec et pétillant, pointe houblonnée épicée avec une fine note fleurie en fin de bouche. Au final, l’effet de la pleine lune n’a pas vraiment aidé cette bière, on se retrouve dans une lager tout ce qu’il y a de plus typique.

50cl can from COOP, Moudon. BB 20-02-2013. Dorée, col blanc épais crémeux. Arôme est malté, grains, houblonné et herbacé avec un léger bouquet malt grillé et poussiéreux. En bouche, pétillant moyen, palais houblonné, malt restant assez doux avec des notes herbacées, le tout est sec et poussiéreux, grains et malté au devant sur un houblon finement amer.

Bottle from Drinks of the World, Zurich. Pours dark brown with a dark tan head. Aroma of rosted malt. A rather sweet doubble bock like malty taste but also some rosted malt and coffee.

From a 50cl can. Clear pale golden with a minimal white head. Light malty aroma with hints of fruit, hops and metal. Medium sweet with a metallic taste. A hint of bitterness in the finish. Bland, but drinkable.

Bottle from Drinks of the World, Zürich. Pours grayis amber with a shortlasting white head. Light sweetish grassy hop aroma. Rather sweet tase, thirst quenching. More watery than "Die kraft des hopfens" in my oppinion.

Skunky as all hell, but as usual I like this green bottle contamination and i this one it’’s pretty strong - so be ware if don’t like that style. So much for Switzerland. Bottle from saq.

[5/14/12] Bottle on a Swiss Air flight. Clear golden with a white head. Slightly grainy aroma with hay and a bit of grassy hops. Sweetish flavor with a bit of malt, a bit grainy, with a slightly bitter finish. Light-medium-bodied, a bit fizzy. Quite bland but pretty drinkable.

Bottle 500ml. [ As Locher Appenzeller Lager Hell ].Clear medium yellow colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, grain, hay, light hoppy, grass. Flavour is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average to long duration, grassy, grainy. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20120331]

Originally rated August 2004. My first Switzerland brew. This one poured a clean golden colour with a nice bubbly white head. I could smell aromas of honey and malt, very little though. Taste is very light, with a slight bitter-sweet finish. Comes in a green bottle. Not much to it.
